With nearly 35 years of combined coffee experience between Mandy Spirito and Michael Harwood, it felt imperative to execute their vision for what was once simply a name...“Vignette Coffee Roasters.”

Through our discovery process, we decided to run with the idea of creating our own story——our own vignette, if you will——spearheaded by our shifty, precarious raccoon mascot. While the brand tone is irreverent and playful, the primary identity finds structure and organization through tidy packaging systems.

Brand visuals stem from heritage roots with contemporary twists, combining Vignette’s love of various ephemera including Penguin Classics book covers, vintage matchbooks, and early Americana design. The integral parts of Vignette’s branding lie within the packaging portfolio for their flagship line of wholesale blends, plus single origin and seasonally-sourced coffees.

While Vignette may have sharpened their teeth in the coffee industry for decades, believe us when we say that their story is just beginning.
